It’s tough to argue with the appeal of a classic warbird. The Corsair is by far one of the most favored WWII Allied machines along with the P-51 Mustang, the Supermarine Spitfire and the P-47 Thunderbolt. Although modeled extensively, the Corsair to us is like a favorite set of wrenches to a master mechanic…or cold-hardened stainless cutlery to a master chef; it never gets old or goes out of style. The Top Flite Corsair .60 Gold Edition ARF is just that tool. It looks good, it flies great, and it’s a Corsair!

As RC pilots, we tend to horse-trade quite a bit as our tastes change and we get tired of an aircraft. A great flying warbird is the type of model you’ll keep forever, or, until you stuff it into the ground. The true test is whether or not you’ll go back and buy the same model again when your last one is turned into splinters. We may be too bold in saying, but the Top Flite F4U Corsair .60 is, perhaps, just that model. Check out the review videos and judge for yourself!
