Hitec Extra 300S P2GO Weekender Review

Hitec Weekender Extra 300S

Hitec’s big introduction into the aircraft side of the business has been highly anticipated. You probably already use their servos since they dominate the market worldwide and we’ve benefited from using their rock-solid radio systems as well. Now with aircraft bearing the same name, we had to check out the products and put them to the test. Watch the videos and see what we found out about the new Weekender line of aircraft from Hitec!

Extra 300S Assembly Video

Foamys have flooded the market over the last several years and we’ve had the chance to fly and test a lot of them. Getting another foam plane for testing has it’s up side and down side. The good news is that they usually assemble really quick and are easy to drop at the field and start testing – no messy fuel, field box, etc. The down side is that they all start to blend together after awhile. This pattern was upset the minute Hitec’s Extra 300S showed up at the door.

From the unboxing with it’s meticulous packaging job to the the laying out of all the parts – this was unique. The finish was flawless, parts were in perfect condition, and the attention to detail like the replica RC gas motor exhaust and the 3-bladed scale prop started off an interest and enthusiasm that lasted from assembly through review! Check out the videos to see what we’re talking about and consider yourself warned: your RC buying season isn’t over just yet:)
