Ares Ethos QX 75 Nano-Micro Quad Review

Ethos QX 75
Quadcopters have permeated the hobby industry by force over the last few years. It’s only natural that we see tiny versions of these flying machines appear from top-rated manufacturers. We’ve tested and flown a number of larger quads outdoors, but having something you can fly both indoors and out makes for some exciting winter flying fun! See how the Ares Ethos Nano Micro performs in our 5X5 review…

Summary

Whenever you make an RC aircraft in miniature, things can get dicey. Rotary aircraft are even more difficult since there’s just no mass to help alleviate twitchy, unpredictable behavior. When we started testing micro quads, it seemed clear that the stakes were even higher. Balancing an aircraft suspended by four tiny rotors means the on-board gyro has to be fast and accurate but also easy to control. Ares has maintained their track record of releasing product that is, above all else, fun to fly!
