LiPos can blow off your fingertipsIt was brought to my attention by the Academy of Model Aeronautics that an article recently published by the The Washington Post was drawing parallels between Boeing’s 787 “Dreamliner” Lithium-ion fires and the dangers of our LiPo hobby packs. The article, titled “Model plane hobbyists know the risks of Lithium-ion batteries” informs consumers about the lurking danger of Lithium batteries burning down your house, exploding your mobile phone, stealing food from your fridge and running up your credit card bill.
